Born and raised in Texas, Teresa Ward has called Midland home since 2017. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, she began her career in client-focused sales in 2013, where she developed a strong foundation in business development, client relationships, negotiations, and follow-through.
In 2015, Teresa became a licensed Texas Real Estate Agent, gaining valuable experience representing buyers and sellers while developing extensive knowledge of surface rights and surface acquisitions. She continues to maintain her real estate license, allowing her to assist clients with oil and gas surface transactions when needed.
In 2022, Teresa expanded her career into the oil and gas industry as a Landman. She completed the Petroleum Land Management Certificate Program at Midland College in 2023 and earned the Registered Landman (RL) designation through the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). Her work has focused on oil and gas leasing, mineral acquisitions, and negotiations across Texas and New Mexico.
As the founder of Ward Land Services, Teresa partners with mineral owners and energy companies to provide professional land services throughout the Permian Basin. She is committed to building lasting relationships through integrity, prompt responsiveness, and practical solutions tailored to each client's needs.
